I had recently shared a similar situation to this news article. I had worked for a restaurant owner who at the time had false negative allegations towards them. As a current employee of theirs who had worked for them for a long period of time, I believed the allegations weren’t honest and I stood by and supported the restaurant owner because I knew it was the right thing to do in my position and with my beliefs. I think this is very important to acknowledge because not all employers create a toxic workplace but can be blamed for it.
